God was pleased with His creation of Adam and Eve who were made in His image, after our likeness; male and female created he them. God had created Adam from the dust and Eve from Adam’s rib all on the sixth day of Creation with the animals

After Adam and Eve ate of the Tree of Good and Evil it ushered sin into the world, God established a way to forgiveness through the blood of innocent animals to cover the couple’s nakedness. The shedding of blood would be the standard for receiving forgiveness for sins. God gave us a snapshot to prepare our mind for when His Son would come to Earth and donate His blood for all mankind.

JESUS WAS CALLED THE LAMB OF GOD BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY PERFECT RIGHTEOUS MAN WHO QUALIFIED TO SUFFER AND DIE FOR OUR SINS SO WE CAN BE CLEANSED AND CLEAN FOR HEAVEN.

Adam and Eve had two sons; Cain was first; Abel, second. When it was time for the sacrifice for sin, Abel the sheep keeper picked the perfect lil lamb and offered it as the only way to pay for his sins; God smiled. When Cain the farmer offered his cream of the crop fruit from the field for his sins God couldn’t respect it. Cain was highly offended.

CAIN DISOBEYED GOD BY OFFERING HIS BEST VEGGIES FOR FORGIVENESS OF HIS SIN AND NOT THE REQUIRED PERFECT LAMB. GOD REFUSED IT BECAUSE SIN IS SO HORRIBLE IT REQUIRES BLOOD AND DEATH FOR FORGIVENESS. THAT’S WHY GOD SENT JESUS TO BLEED & DIE FOR OUR…

God said, “Why are you so angry, Cain. You know the requirement for sin. I’ll give you a second chance to make it  right.”

Instead, Cain confronted Abel, out in the field, and killed his own flesh and blood. Later, God heard the blood of Abel calling out to Him from the field. Abel has been in Heaven for 6,000 yrs.; Cain’s been in Sheol.

Many people have accepted God’s way of salvation through His Son Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross. They know every drop of His blood was emptied from His body. Young Abel may not have understood God’s requirement for sin, but he obeyed and found favor with God.

Many people are still trying to please God in their own way like Cain did and God can’t respect it. God loves and appreciates our good works for people, but they aren’t good enough to cover our sins and get us into Heaven. Something valuable of a great price like God’s righteous Son’s good work on the cross is required to paid for our sins and He is worthy to complete our salvation.

LIKE THE PRIEST IN THE OLD TESTAMENT SPRINKLED BLOOD 7 TIMES ON THE ALTAR FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF THE JEWS, JESUS GAVE HIS BLOOD IN SEVEN PLACES FOR OUR SINS AND FOR HEALING.
